Painterly Parryi - A multicolored unusual view of agave.
Painterly Parryi
One of my favorite places close to home is Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. There are fountains, outside gardens, tree houses and so much more to see in the fresh air. In the Conservatory you can see orchids, tropical plants, and one of my favorite rooms, the room that houses agave .
Normally, the color of this particular agave is a light blue gray. But I decided to have fun with it with oils. It was the first time I used canvas paper in my printer since I gave up my black and white darkroom. I am not a fan. The paint didn't behave as well as it did with fiber based photographic paper I used to use in the darkroom. You can see the fiber of the paper that was printed using the printer. I just wanted to make a funky plant.
